Lakefront Air Virtual was formed in June of 2008 and has since grown greatly. Lakefront Air Virtual is committed to offering a realistic experience. Our airline follows the paths of real world airlines from our fleet to our routes.

Lakefront Air Virtual is based in Cleveland, OH, with our two other hubs in Milwaukee, WC and Omaha, NE. Our mainline fleet consists of the Airbus A320 and 19 as well as the A330. Our smaller shuttle service consists of the ERJ-140 and Dash-8-100. Our fleet is based on cohesive aircraft in the real world.

We have a very friendly and accepting community among our pilots. Our pilots are from all skill level and nationality.

I would like to be the first to welcome you to Lakefront Air Virtual. I am the founder and current Chief Executive Officer of Lakefront Air Virtual. Lakefront Air was started to provide a realistic experience for simmer around the world. In addition to being a realistic experience we wanted to have a strong community within our airline. As a pilot your suggestions are heard and honored. Our executives do our best to keep our airline headed in the right direction by promoting realistic flying and our strong community of pilots.

Our community of pilots is very important to this airline and should be a key factor in all virtual airlines and other organizations. Lakefront Air's community supports and helps all other pilots within our airline. A virtual airline is not just for flying scheduled routes or participating in VATSIM events, it is a group of enthusiasts that share a common interest; flying. As a pilot, being part of our community comes with a large responsibly. You, as the pilot, hold the future for our airline and even just your opinion can make a large difference. This is not my airline it is our airline, all of our pilots are part of this airline. Once you sign up for Lakefront, you become part of the legacy.

Two years ago when the founders of Lakefront sat down to decide what they wanted to bring to the table that was different to all the other virtual airlines, one point was obvious to all of us; realism. Our airline is based on realism; we wanted the challenge of running an airline. Our fleet and routes are based on real world airlines. We have met that challenge and are challenge everyday by continuing to bring realism into our airline.

Our airline is steadily growing and today we operate three hubs in Cleveland, Omaha and Milwaukee. We have a fleet of sixty aircraft that include the Airbus A319, 20 and A330-200, the Dehavilland Dash-8-100 and the Embraer ERJ-140KE.
